James returns to Victor upon the commotion, and ignorant of his brother’s intent, he rushes to defend him. In Vietnam, the increasingly violent Victor attempts to rape a Vietnamese woman and kills a senior officer who tries to stop him. They spend the next century as soldiers, fighting in the American Civil War, both World Wars and the Vietnam War in 1973. James flees along with Thomas' other son Victor Creed, who is James' half-brother and has a sharp claw-nails and healing factor mutation like James. In 1845, James Howlett, a boy living in Canada, witnesses his father being killed by groundskeeper Thomas Logan. In present day, Wolverine is seen drinking at a bar in Canada, listening to the bartender ramble on as his thoughts drift to a forgotten past. Gore and dismemberment is fun as hell, definately recommend this game for fans of this style of game (need something to tide you over till God of War 3, this is it), if not, at least rent because it's money well spent for the fun factor, plus it has replayability with its trophies and unlockables to power up.First thing's first, rename it Wolverine: Origins. I like the movie, and so far I like this game too. Different from the movie, but obviously its going to be. Finally a movie-tie in game thats not like some fat guy taking a huge crap after being constipated. Extremely addicting, and not as repetitive as the new Prince of Persia where you get tired and fall asleep after 5 minutes. Unreal Engine should die or get a makeover, its becoming very outdated, but this game manages to pull out lush environments still, which is nice. I think i would give this game an 8.5, but im bumping it up because its such a surprisingly good game.
